Team Overview

Team 781, the Kinetic Knights, is a youth robotics team based in Kincardine, Ontario.

Since our inception in 2001, we have participated in the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Competition - High School Division. The Team also mentors FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) teams consisting of local kids aged 9 to 13.

Team 781 is made up of about 12 youth, aged 14 to 19, from the Kincardine, Tiverton, and Ripley areas as well as 8 mentors from the community.

WHAT IS FIRST?

FIRST was created “to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.”
